Mealani's Taste Of The Hawaiian Range - 15th Anniversary

Over 30 hawai'i chefs prepare culinary "tastes" using grass-fed beef, pork, lamb, goat, mutton and wild boar—plus fresh island fruit and vegetables. Attendees graze at culinary stations while visiting vendor booths to meet the farmers and ranchers who grow our food, plus sample their products. Some of the chef's will be using the Fresh Hawaiian Heart of Palm in their recipes. WAG will also have a booth set up showcasing our products. Please visit us!

KCC Farmers Market - Ongoing

WAG is at the KCC Farmers Market on Oahu, on the first and third Saturday of every month. Products available for purchase are: Fresh Heart of Palm in 1/2 pound and 1 pound packages, Avocados, Meyer Lemons, Seedless Limes, Lychee, Longan, Rambutan, Breadfruit (Ulu), Starfruit, Passion Fruit (Lilikoi), fresh Nutmeg, Bayleaf and more. Products vary depending on the season. We hand out fresh samples here... so come down and try some!

Les Dames d’Escoffier is a world wide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality.

Les DamesThe Les Dames of the Hawaii chapter enjoyed a two day tour of Big Island Farms organized by Joan Namkoong.

It was a rainy day when they visited the WAG farm but the smiles were big as the woman toured and tasted a variety of items such as fresh Cinnamon leaves (pictured here). They also watched the Fresh Hawaiian Heart of Palm being harvested and then got to taste the freshly chopped sweet, crunchy slices. Lesley Hill, co-owner of WAG, is a Les Dames member.

Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau in San Francisco - February 2010

Bay-area residents were treated to a night of Hawaiian food and products at the HVCB event in San Francisco. Chef's from Hawaii were Alan Wong, Roy Yamaguchi & DK Kodama. Both DK Kodama and Alan Wong used the Fresh Hawaiian Heart of Palm in their delicious creations. The Fresh Hawaiian Heart of Palm was a big hit.
